Howard G. Silverman is the founding partner and lead attorney of Philadelphia, PA based Kane & Silverman, P.C. In 1983, Howard received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and in 1986 he received his Juris Doctorate from Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Howard is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, along with the American Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers. Being an accomplished Personal Injury Attorney and an auto accident lawyer, Howard has been recognized by the Million Dollar Advocates Forum-the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in America. Membership is limited to attorneys who have secured million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Less than one percent of U.S. lawyers are members. Also, in recognition of his commitment to his clients and his legal accomplishments, Howard G. Silverman is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for the highest level of legal ability and adherence to the professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.

Apart from his achievements as a personal injury lawyer, Howard specializes in representing first-party insured in bad faith insurance claims. He has also successfully prosecuted claims for bad faith in third-party claims for failure to defend unsatisfied judgments. He has become an expert in insurance bad faith law and has been invited to speak about such issues by the National Organization of Public Adjusters, and numerous other organizations.

Howard is also a partner at the Haggerty & Silverman law firm, where he joined forces with long-time trial lawyer William Haggerty. Haggerty & Silverman has extensive experience in representing individuals and their families who have been seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents in addition to all personal injury claims. The firm has been voted the #1 law firm in Lancaster County three years in a row.

In his spare time, Howard is an avid sports fan supporting all of Philadelphia's major league teams as well as his alma mater football team, the Florida Gators. He also likes to spend time with his wife and two children.
